 In Interviews with CNBC-Arabia and Al Eqtesadiya, Dr. Ihsan commented on predictions of Saudi Government’s Actual Revenues and Expenditures for 2010.
     Dr. Ihsan A. Bu-Hulaiga was interviewed by both Al Eqtesadyia, the leading Saudi economic daily newspaper, and CNBC-Arabia Arabia TV Channel on the actual performance of the Saudi treasury for the year 2010. Dr. Bu-Hulaiga’s analysis showed that it is highly likely that the Saudi treasury will close the current year with a surplus. This is due to the robust oil revenues. He estimated 2010’s expenditure at SR620 billion, 15 percent over what was initially budgeted. The US Energy Information Department estimated Saudi Arabia’s oil revenues for the first 11 month of 2010 at US$184 billion. more..
